![]() Valve actuating mechanism
专利摘要:
This invention relates to an actuating mechanism for a pump inlet closure valve and includes in combination a pump housing which projects into a fuel tank and has an opening to allow passage of fuel from the tank into the pump housing. A pump inlet closure valve sleeve is positioned within the pump housing and is mounted for movement in a predetermined path. A pump is positioned within the valve sleeve. A fixed pump housing seal is located in the path of the valve sleeve as well as within and between the pump and the housing. A valve actuating mechanism includes a handle which is pivotally secured to the pump housing and slideably moveable in a direction parallel to the path of the valve sleeve. The handle is mechanically coupled to the valve sleeve whereby initial manual movement of the handle causes the valve sleeve to move into a position blocking the opening to the fuel tank. The valve sleeve is locked in place during subsequent pivotal movement of the handle, which movement allows for the unobstructed passage of the pump from the housing. 公开号:SU1132797A3 申请号:SU802982400 申请日:1980-09-22 公开日:1984-12-30 发明作者:Кент Миллер Эдвин 申请人:Сандстрэнд Корпорейшн (Фирма); IPC主号:
专利说明:
The invention deviates to hydraulic engineering and can be used in the design of in-tank pumps. The valve actuator mechanism is known in the form of a sleeve that bridges the inlet opening in the housing of the intra-pump, containing a handle mounted on the housing of the latter 1. However, the known drive mechanism does not provide the necessary safety during operation. The closest to the invention according to the technical essence and the achieved result is the valve drive mechanism in the form of a sleeve blocking the inlet opening in the housing of the intratank pump, containing a handle rotatable mounted on the latter’s body, and interacting with it axis 2, The disadvantage of the known device (is its low reliability, due to the possibility of uncontrolled draining of fluid during dismantling The purpose of the invention is to increase reliability by preventing the liquid from draining when the pump is dismantled. The goal is achieved by the fact that in the valve actuator mechanism in the form of a sleeve intersecting the inlet in the housing inside the tank pump containing the handle rotatable on the latter’s housing and interacting with the axis, the handle is provided with slots and a key, is mounted in the housing with the ability to move along the Nchsos longitudinal axis to shut off the inlet, and is connected to the valve bush stvom axes, each of which has a head, a conductive input slot of the handle, in a groove of the armature sensor body under the key handle to prevent rotation of the latter during its movement along the longitudinal axis of the pump. FIG. 1 shows an intra-tank pump with a valve drive mechanism, a longitudinal section; FIG. 2 shows the valve actuator in the fully closed and locked position; in fig. 3 is a section A-A in FIG. 1; in fig. 4 is a section BB in FIG. 3; FIG. 5 shows the device shown in FIG. 1, bottom view. The valve actuator mechanism in the form of a sleeve 1, blocking the inlet 2 in the housing 3 of the internal tank pump 4, contains a handle 5, is pivotally mounted on the body 3 of the latter, and axes 6 interacting with it. The handle 5 is provided with slots 7 and a key 8, is installed in the case of 3 s. the ability to move along the longitudinal axis of the pump 4 to close the inlet 2 and is connected to the valve sleeve 1 by means of axles 6, each of which has a head 9 entering the slot 7 of the handle 5 "in the case 3 there is a groove 10 under the key 8 of the handle 5 to prevent rotation of the latter when it moves along the longitudinal axis of the pump 4. The pump is equipped with an electric motor 11, causing the impeller 12 to rotate. At the entrance of the latter there are guide vanes 13 fixed to the cap 14, supplied with-. a drain plug 15. The cover 14 closes the cylindrical sleeve 16 below, mounted in the casing 3 of the pump 4. The casing 3 is attached to the bottom .17 of the fuel tank (not shown). I In the sleeve 16 there are openings 18 located opposite the inlet opening 2 of the housing 3. A valve sleeve 1 is mounted between the housing 3 and the sleeve 16 with the possibility of axial movement and has a sliding contact with the inner surface of the housing 3 o. an axial limitation of the valve sleeve 1 and provided with a seal 20. In the retaining ring 19 (Fig. 2) there are holes 21 and 22 through which axles 6 are passed. Threaded Sections 23 of each axis 6, oppositely located head 9, are secured in the sleeve 1 of the valve. The handle 5 is pivotally mounted on the housing 3 by means of a tubular shaft 24 located in the opening 25 of the housing 3. In the inner cavity 26 of the tubular shaft 24, there is a hinge bolt 27 fixed to the pump casing 3 The hinge bolt 27 is provided with a limiting shoulder 28 at the end, and the tubular shaft 24 at the point of exit from its inner cavity 26 of the bolt 27 — the restricting protrusion 29. A compression spring 30 is located between the collar 28 and the projection 29. A key 8, located on the surface of the tubular shaft 24, enters the groove 10 of the housing 3, which prevents the handle from turning .5 when it axially rotates. In the working position, the handle 5 is closed by a clamp 31. The locking cod 9 (FIG. 3) is fixed to the housing 3 by means of the mounting lugs 32, 33, 34 and screws 35, 36, 37. One of these screws (screw 35) is shown on AiHa 4 in cross section. The cylindrical sleeve 16 is provided with a mounting foot 38 attached to the body 3 by means of a bolt 3 (FIG. 4). In addition, there are additional mounting feet 40, 41 and 42 attached to the housing 3 by means of bolts 43, 44 and 45, respectively (Fig. 3). The bolts 39, 43 and 44 also pass through the cover 31 of the housing 3. The valve sleeve 1 is provided with sealing rings 46 located between the sleeve 1 and the housing 3. The valve drive mechanism works as follows. When the pump is operating, the valve sleeve 1 is in the extreme upper position (Fig. 1). The liquid from the tank through the inlet 2 of the housing 3 of the window 18 of the sleeve 16 enters the impeller 12 of the internal tank pump 4 and is pumped by it to the consumer. If it is necessary to remove the pump 4 from the housing 3, the following operations are performed. The bolts 39 43 and 44 are removed and the cover 31 of the housing 3 is removed, after which. Access to the handle 5 is opened. Move the handle 5 along the longitudinal axis of the pump 4 downwardly along with the axes 6, the head 9 of each of which is located in the corresponding aperture 7 of the handle 5, and the valve sleeve 1 connected to the latter through the axes 6, until the lower end of the sleeve 1 rests on the stop ring 19. In this position, the 7La 1, with its side surface sealed relative to the housing 3 by means of the rings 46, blocks the inlet 2 of the housing 3 and the flow of fluid from the tank to pump 4 is stopped (fig. 2). A key 8 located on the surface of the shaft 24 slides along the groove 10 of the housing 3 when the handle 5 is axially moved, thereby preventing the handle 5 from being turned and the early head 9 of the axes 6 out of the slots 7 being rotated 7. The length of the groove 10 is chosen to be sufficient ensured reliable overlap of the bore 2 with the valve bushing 1. After the axial movement of the handle 5 has been completed, the key 8 has come out of the groove 10, and the inlet 2. of the housing 3 is blocked, the handle 5 is rotated around the pivot bolt 27, which serves as the axis of rotation, to the position indicated in FIG. 3 dotted line. In this case, the heads 9 of the axles 6 come out of the slots 7 of the handle 5. The handle 5 can be provided with a ratchet mechanism (not shown) preventing its accidental rotation after its rotation. The mounting tab 38 and the bolt 39 passing through it, as well as the drain plug 15 (Fig. 3), are located under the handle 5 when it is in the folded state indicated in Figs. 3 solid line. Consequently, the pump 4 cannot be removed from the housing 3 until the bolt 45 is twisted, and this is possible only after the handle 5 has made an axial movement first and then a turn. Thus, the residual fluid from the housing 3 cannot be carried out before turning the handle 5, Dismantling the pump 4 and draining the residual fluid can only be done if the valve sleeve 1 reliably seals the hole 2 in the housing. This prevents fluid from being drained from the tank and provides increased reliability. .. j / j Jift,. . dT I Shch. y -....L L I, 21 d t -31 w /one Fig.1 / / 7 ut.t t 77 // 77 / -N,. y, l ,, ... .., p. 5 15 7 22,3102826 35 "four 33 I j .J J ig.5 "" J5
